Who would have thought that the Phoenix Suns and not the Lakers or Celtics or Cavs or Magic would be the first team to win 10 games?
The 8-3 Lakers, though, should reach that mark within the week with home games against Chicago on Thursday, Oklahoma City on Sunday and New York on Tuesday. But considering the losses they have suffered, it’s not a given.
Last season, the Lakers won their 10th game on Nov. 21 with a 104-90 victory against Denver. So in that sense, this season’s team isn’t far off the mark.
Of course, the 2008-09 squad didn’t suffer their third loss until the holiday shopping season was in full force, dropping a 113-101 game to Sacramento on Dec. 9.
They aren’t playing catchup, they are giving Phoenix a head start. They’ll catch them and Phoenix will eventually start losing games. They’re hot right now. Not worried.
Suns better pad their record now because December will be a brutal month for them.
Their offense is geared around scoring within 7 seconds or less. Unfortunately, their defense gives up points just as fast.
meh.
this means nothing.
This years Suns’ remind me of the New Orleans Hornets of a couple years ago. Only difference is Chris Paul plays both ends of the floor.
Ooooooh Burn! LOL
suns can kill anybody, with a .500 record or less! not worried at all.
