Farmar holding his own at poker

Looks like Jerry Buss has competition.

Jordan Farmar survived Day 1 at the World Series of Poker at the Rio in Las Vegas, eclipsing 100,000 in chips at one point and finishing in ninth place. Not bad for a $10,000 buy-in.

The Lakers guard is playing for a $8.6 million grand prize. If he wins, maybe he could donate the money to the “Re-sign Lamar Club.”

It’s not like he can’t work out and still spend time at the poker table.
