For all the talk about how unfocused the Lakers were, here are the margins of victory in their four close-out playoff games: Eleven over Utah, nineteen over Houston, twenty-seven over Denver, eleven over Orlando.

Actually, in their first closout game against the Rockets, their margin was (-10): Game 6 (95-85) Rockets.
Pau Gasol is the best player in this group. THE BEST.
Pau makes the diference. HIs ability to play power forward and center. Pau Gasol is the number one in this team and now is over. Spain want Gasol playing in Cleveland for a new ring alonside LJ.
One thing I didn’t see written much was about Pau’s defense in Game 5. After all the stuff that’s been written about how soft he is, blah, blah, blah…someone should have talked about how stellar he was in that game against both Rasheed Lewis and Dwight Howard. Why do you think they didn’t have big games? Pau (along with Drew and Lamar) was blocking shots, challenging and changing shots, taking charges, and generally frustrating the Magic’s two big players. He normally scores more, but he really focused on what the Lakers needed - defense - and was awesome. 15 rebounds!! This was a break-out game for him and I was enjoying every minute of it. Kevin…please write one of your columns about this…Pau deserves it!
Gasol is now a shining star in LA , he was a bigtime loser in Memphis.

The time of Pau Gasol in L.A. is over. He have the ring and want to win another. Of course, Cleveland is a god solution (gasolution obiusly) Pau with Lebron will be a amazing duo next year.
