Celtics to receive a special delivery

A special airplane, brought to you by the special airline sponsor. Special delivery to a former Boston legend. A special case.
Lucky the Leprechaun and the team’s dancers will be on hand to see that the special case that has been flown on the special airplane will be put in a special limo which will have a special escort to the arena.
So what’s so special?
The Boston Celtics championship rings, of course.
The Celtics earned those rings with the victory against the Lakers in the NBA Finals last season and all this ring ceremony hoopla is sure to bring back unpleasant memories for Lakers fans.
The Celtics’ ring ceremony might be getting presidential treatment but the players aren’t complaining.
“I’ll enjoy every bit of it,” Paul Pierce told Boston.com. “It will be great to raise the banner, get my ring, and then put it behind us.”
Isn’t it special?

it’s good that the ring manufacturer already has the sizes of the Celtics fingers. This way they can speed up delivery of the 2008-2009 rings the Celtics are sure to win this season.
