Deadline coming for rookies

Tuesday is D-Day for the rookies.
Brandon Heath, C.J. Giles, Joe Crawford and Coby Karl will all learn their Lakers fate Tuesday when Coach Phil Jackson trims the roster either to 13 or 14 players.
Jackson would not say who he is leaning toward keeping, although he has been impressed with Giles’ athleticism.
