Andrew Bynum checked in this week on his website and gave an update on his status. It was all good.
The Lakers center said that that he “can feel his body returning to form” and would be returning to Los Angeles in the next few days to continue his workouts that began six weeks ago.
Bynum suffered what turned out to be a season-ending knee injury in January and had surgery this summer.
“I have my mile run back down in the low sixes, I’m playing way above the rim, dunking the ball like crazy, and my leg is 100% pain free with no swelling. My trainer, Dr. Sean Zarzana, has me doing all types of workouts from track, strength, balance, basketball, stretching and yoga. All of the routines are extremely challenging…”
Friday, Bynum met with the media.
Cool, the finals will await you.
Wonder what Shaq will be doing then.
I’d like to know when he will resume his sessions with Cap and I’d love to hear an affirmative statement from him that he believes that he will be stronger, more effective and more dominant than before his injury. That would get me excited because it was his confidence which elevated his game to begin with..
7footer running a mile in the low 6’s. pretty f’n good to me. dunking the ball like crazy? i like the sound of that. thats what i love about bynum. he dunks whenever he can. not wasting an inch of his height.
In other news, I’m still a moron.
