Sun’s contract is standard stuff — sort of

Sun Yue, who signed a contract with the Lakers this week, reportedly got a standard two-year deal worth $1.2 million. What isn’t routine is the fact that it is fully guaranteed, according Hoopsworld.com.

The Chinese guard, the 40th pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, reportedly will earn $442,000 the first season and another $736,000 the second season. At that price, he’s “guaranteed” a roster spot.
