After playing against Spain this weekend, Kobe Bryant is having second thoughts about the Lakers decision to trade Spanish forward Marc Gasol.
Marc was drafted by the Lakers then traded to Memphis in the deal that brought his brother, Pau, to Los Angeles. Marc, a 7-footer, is averaging 7.5 points and 5 rebounds in the Olympic Games.
Kobe told the Memphis Commercial Appeal: “In hindsight, we probably didn’t have to give him up to get Pau,” Bryant said. “We should have kept Marc, too.”

I’ll bet Marc would have been better than Josh Powell. But I would have done anything to get rid of Kwame Brown and get Pau in return.
