OK, so Robert “Tractor” Traylor looked every bit of his 300 pounds after working out for the Lakers on Thursday. But his conditioning shouldn’t be much of a problem.
Traylor said in Puerto Rico, where he has played the past two seasons, team generally play 32 games in 61 days.
One onlooker at Thursday’s workout at Hangar Athletic Xchange in Hawthorne said Traylor’s talent was still evident and that he moved well inside and held his own against a team of younger players. Among those he competed against were Elton Brown and Lorenzo Mata-Real.
Traylor is hoping to put his career back on track after several health and legal issues forced him out of the NBA.
