Lakers need new target … Artest is taken

Fans have been clamoring since the end of the Finals for the Lakers to make a move, and one involving them getting Ron Artest seemed especially popular.

On to Plan B.

Looks like a deal is done for Sacramento to ship Artest to Houston for Bobby Jackson and another player.

Of course, fans now can rationalize that they didn’t want the assorted headaches that accompany Artest anyway, right?

So, hit us with your suggestions for what player should be the Lakers’ primary target now.
