Minutes before the Lakers’ summer league team was scheduled to scrimmage their counterparts from the Clippers, there remained some paring down that still needed to be done on the Lakers’ roster.
Twenty players participated in the morning practice but that list was expected to be cut down to 12 by the time the scrimmage was scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
