Pac-10 should change it’s name to the Pac-NBA

Robin and Brook Lopez

What is James Harden thinking today? Harden, the silky guard from Arizona State, is the only non-millionaire on the Pacific 10 Conference’s first team. In fact, only three players from the all-conference first and second team didn’t get drafted Thursday. Those players, in case you’re wondering, are Harden, UCLA’s Darren Collison and Washington’s Jon Brockman.

Twelve Pac-10 players were taken in the draft, including three players (Malik Hairston of Oregon, Robin Lopez of Stanford and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute of UCLA) who were given only honorable mention on the all-conference team.

Here’s the list of drafted Pac-10 players:

1. OJ Mayo, USC

2. Russell Westbrook, UCLA

3. Kevin Love, UCLA

4. Brook Lopez, Stanford

5. Jerryd Bayless, Arizona

6. Robin Lopez, Stanford

7. Ryan Anderson, Cal

8. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, UCLA

9. Kyle Weaver, Washington State

10. Malik Hairston, Oregon

11. DeVon Hardin, Cal

12. Maarty Leunen, Oregon
