As a player, UCLA’s Kevin Love has been compared to legendary Hall of Fame center Wes Unseld.
The most comparable part of Love’s game to Unseld’s is Love’s outlet passing ability, a skill at which Unseld excelled during his 13-year NBA career.
The two are not dissimilar in size, either. Unseld was a relatively short 6-foot-7 center, although his brawny body type compensated for his lack of height for his position.
Love, listed at 6-10 in college, was measured at the pre-draft camp in Orlando at a shade above 6-8.
With that in mind, Love brings back memories of Lakers of the past like Don Ford, Mark Landsberger, current general manager Mitch Kupchak and even Love’s dad, Stan Love.
Did I miss anyone?
