Here come the trades …

There goes one of the Lakers possibilities for next season. ESPN is reporting that Richard Jefferson of the New Jersey Nets has been traded to the Milwaukee Bucks for Yi Jianlian and Bobby Simmons.

Also, OJ Mayo is involved in a deal between the Clippers and the Seattle SuperSonics. If Mayo goes No. 3, then the Clippers will take Seattle’s fourth pick (where they are expected to take Eric Gordon of Indiana). The Sonics would then be expected to take Brook Lopez or Jerryd Bayless with the No. 7 pick.

Of course, if the Minnesota Timberwolves don’t take Mayo at 3, the deal goes down the drain.
