Well, that was ugly.
(There are several other adjectives I can think of, but I can’t print any of them here.)
But what’s done is done. The Celtics were the better team. The Lakers can learn lessons from their inglorious NBA Finals defeat, but it’s counterproductive to look back when the future is so bright.
So let’s put Game 6 behind us, look ahead to 2008-09 and try to figure out what the Lakers need to claim the trophy the Celtics now own.
