Lamar Odom, Lakers

Q: Was Kobe (Bryant) uncomfortable tonight in the offense?

Odom: Kobe’s never uncomfortable. He can hit shots from anywhere, with anyone on him. We just have to do a better job of rebounding and scrapping and getting the loose balls.”

Pau Gasol, Lakers

Q: Were there some things you did in this contest that were uncharacteristic of the Lakers?

Gasol: “Well, we don’t like to be outrebounded like we were tonight. There were a lot of loose balls that we didn’t get. That’s a big difference. We didn’t play a good game and we got a little anxious. … We started shooting a lot of jumpers. Hopefully, next time out we won’t be as anxious and we’ll be more focused and sharper.”
