LOS ANGELES — Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak finished second to Boston’s Danny Ainge in the NBA’s Executive of the Year balloting of league executives, conducted by Sporting News. Ainge got 18 of the 47 votes cast; Kupchak got 14 votes, followed by New Orleans’ Jeff Bower, who got 12.
