Utah guard Ronnie Brewer, a second-year player out of Arkansas, wants to make a name for his self. He wants to be known as a great defender.
This, however, was not how it’s done.

Brewer repeatedly got burned by Bryant in the third quarter, at one point, trailed several feet behind as Bryant drove to the basket for an easy layup.

ryant scored 15 points in the third quarter as the Lakers held a 93-83 lead after the third quarter.
Brewer got a small dose of redemption when he stole the ball and scored on a break to pull the Jazz within eight points, 88-80, with 1:30 left in the quarter. It was as close as Utah had been since early in the first quarter.
