Plan your Sunday, accordingly: If Utah eliminates Houston on Friday night, Game 1 in Jazz-Lakers will be a 12:30 p.m. start at Staples Center unless there are Game 7’s in both the Washington-Cleveland and Atlanta-Boston series, in which case the Lakers’ game will be at 6 p.m.
So unless LeBron James can’t deliver a Game 6 victory in Washington and the Hawks can push the Celts to the brink, the Lakers will be on ABC at 12:30 p.m. (assuming the Jazz don’t boot another ball vs. the Rockets). If the Lakers wind up in the 6 p.m. slot Sunday, they’ll be on TNT, with ABC choosing the two Game 7’s ahead of the Lakers’ Game 1.
