Ronny Turiaf better, albeit 11 pounds lighter

April 25th, 2008, 2:09 pm · Post a Comment · posted by KEVIN DING, OCREGISTER.COM

EL SEGUNDO — Expect Phil Jackson to tighten up his rotation Saturday, as he usually does in big road games, so there won’t be as many minutes for the second-teamers (Luke Walton over Vladimir Radmanovic, excepted). But Ronny Turiaf should be able take his usual turn as the backup center because he’s feeling much better.

Turiaf missed Game 2 Wednesday night because of tonsillitis but was back to eating and drinking Friday … for the first time in 4 1/2 days.

“Feeling great,” said Turiaf, who is 11 pounds lighter after the illness.
