Ronny Turiaf not playing

April 23rd, 2008, 6:29 pm · Post a Comment · posted by KEVIN DING, OCREGISTER.COM

LOS ANGELES — Ronny Turiaf’s throat problem is still bothersome enough that he’s not at Staples Center for Game 2. That means Coby Karl will be on the active roster against his dad, George, and either Chris Mihm or DJ Mbenga could get a turn as the backup center. But the Lakers might also go with Lamar Odom as the backup center with Luke Walton or Vladimir Radmanovic swinging to power forward for a spell.
