EL SEGUNDO - Kobe Bryant still wasn’t in the mood to talk about his early exit from Wednesday’s game.

Bryant ducked out of Lakers practice without talking to reporters on Thursday, leaving Coach Phil Jackson to explain that Bryant didn’t think he would receive a technical foul for kicking the ball at official David Jones.

“He did not intentionally in any way or degree think he was going to get that last technical,” Jackson said. “He’s been punting the ball over to the referees for the last week and a half.”

Bryant left without talking to reporters after the game. He shouted an expletive toward Jones and took his time leaving the court.

It was Bryant’s second technical of the night and his 15th on the season. One more and he will be suspended for one game.

“We don’t want to lose him, but it could happen,” Jackson said. “That’s the farthest stretch of the imagination, but we don’t want to lose him for a playoff game, that’s for sure.”
