It’ll be really fun for Lakers fans if it’s the U.S. vs. Spain in the Olympic men’s basketball final come August, which it might well be. Pau Gasol discussed his excitement about what lies after the NBA season — and whether he or Sasha Vujacic cheats more in cards — in my column.
Before we get there, though, Gasol is looking more and more like the main man in the middle for the bulk of the Lakers’ postseason when you stop and realistically consider some of Andrew Bynum’s limitations, even assuming he comes back healthy.
