CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Just got in to City No. 8 of the nine on this historic Lakers trip, but before I left Miami I wrote a diary-style blog entry about traveling the road so far. Gotta get back to work now on my weekly column — about the new beginnings for Kobe Bryant (with Pau Gasol) and Shaquille O’Neal (with Steve Nash) — but I’ll put something fresh up here a bit later from the Lakers’ pregame period at horribly named Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
