EL SEGUNDO - Conflicting reports on Kobe Bryant’s injury were corrected by a team spokesman, who said Bryant will be game-time decision for Sunday with a strained left groin.
Bryant suffered the injury late in Friday’s game and had to sit out a critical stretch in the closing minutes against Golden State. He said afterward he strained his left quadriceps and would play Sunday.
Bryant did not practice Saturday.
Coach Phil Jackson thought Bryant would be OK but added, “It will probably have to be my decision because he’ll want to play regardless.”
