“Angry Andrew”

OAKLAND — Andrew Bynum could joke about his hothead act Thursday night against San Antonio because the Lakers won the game. He laughed about that being the “angry Andrew Bynum” and acknowledged it’s not someone he wants to showcase on the floor anymore.
“It’s not easy to let go, it’s just something you’ve got to do,” Bynum said. “I wasn’t playing that bad out there; I could’ve really hurt my team and I don’t want to be in that situation again.”
Bynum said he was frustrated that the referees let go a lot of stuff the Spurs were doing to him in the first half. Bynum complained at the start of the second half to officials, but then exploded after drawing an offensive foul when he said he was just slapping Fabricio Oberto’s hand away while he grabbed Bynum’s jersey.
Bynum questioned his first technical foul for stepping toward Oberto — but not his second one.
“I flipped out on the referee, so I got tossed out,” he said.
