Bryant calls P.J. extension “great”

November 30th, 2007, 1:01 am · 1 Comment · posted by KEVIN DING, OCREGISTER.COM

LOS ANGELES — Kobe Bryant is becoming really good at expressing some opinions while not expressing others (with the others often being the ones everyone is dying to hear).

Here’s a fresh take from Bryant — limited as it is — now that Phil Jackson has agreed to his contract extension to stay with the Lakers beyond this season: “I think it’s great. He is clearly, in my opinion, the greatest coach of all time. So when you can lock him in, it’s always a great sign.”

isn’t that contract too onerous? Considering the need for more talent that could help the team, buss should have been more prudent.
