EL SEGUNDO - Lakers forward Ronny Turiaf remains day-to-day with a sprained left ankle and is questionable for Sunday’s game against Chicago.
Turiaf did not practice Saturday. Coach Phil Jackson stopped short of saying Turiaf would not be available Sunday but noted that “he made improvement and that’s a significant part of it.”
Brian Cook started in place of Turiaf on Friday night, but the the Lakers might turn to Vladimir Radmanovic, Luke Walton or Chris Mihm if Turiaf can’t play.
Turiaf is averaging 9.3 points and 5.3 rebounds a game.

We might not miss Ronny’s size because Chicago does not have great size, but he will certainly be missed from an energy standpoint as Chicago has the likes of Joachim Noah and Tyrus Thomas.
